Terms and Conditions of JIVI Drivers

Important Notice: Please read these terms and conditions carefully before making any request for drivers through our mobile application or company website. They contain important information about your rights and obligations. The terms and conditions may be revised in the future based on our experiences.By making a booking with us, you agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions. Driver Obligations and Company Policies:

   Our drivers are under obligation not to solicit our customers directly or indirectly for any driver services. Customers are also obligated not to employ any drivers of JIVI Drivers on a permanent or temporary basis without the consent of the company.
   The company reserves the right to cancel a confirmation made for a booking at any time due to reasons beyond the company's control and purview. We are not liable for any damages, either material or otherwise, that might have been caused to the customer in such occasions.
   The company is not liable for any damages caused due to accidents that might have occurred during the duty time of our drivers. We follow a well-laid-down due diligence/vetting process for the recruitment of our drivers. Drivers are not employed by JIVI Drivers; they use our Mobile application to get the booking and get paid from the customer directly.

Customer Responsibilities:
o Advance bookings can be made at least 2 hrs in advance for proper facilitation of the service. A successful booking alone does not qualify for a service confirmation. After a successful booking, the customer will be provided the driver's number; please call the driver to confirm the duty to avoid last-minute difficulties.

o Also please visit the "Privacy Policy" page link at the bottom of the website that defines the company's usage policy of customer data.

   If a driver accepts an advance booking and fails to report to the customer, the driver must pay a Rs.100 fine to the firm via the payment QR on the company's website.
   If a driver accepts an advance booking but does not report to the customer, the driver must inform the customer in advance of the reasons.
   JIVI drivers will wait no more than 10 minutes after the requested trip start time. Customer should provide the OTP to the driver after 10 minutes so that the trip meter can be started.
   If the car is handed over to the driver without being occupied by the customer, the customer is liable for whatever happens. The company will not encourage this.
   Customers are encouraged to have appropriate documents for their vehicles, such as insurance, Registration Certificate and Pollution Certificate, in the car while traveling.
   Please do not insist or encourage the drivers for over speeding.
   Please do not leave Cash/Valuable Things in possession of the drivers or vehicles.
   The tariff will be adjusted based on the development of the customers' locations such as city, town, and village. Local range is 0-35 km, long-distance range is 35-100 km, and outstation range is more than 100 km. (For example, the tariff in Chennai may differ from the tariff in Trichy.)Tariffs vary by distance across all districts and states.
   If food is provided to the driver while on outstation trips, the food allowance expenses are waived.
   Accommodation rates for a one-day outstation tour are ?300/- per night. For a two-day outstation journey, provide ?250/- per night. For a three-day or longer outstation excursion, contribute ?200/- per night. However, if any type of accommodation is supplied to the driver, these payments are unnecessary.(This charge is not applicable for Same Day Return ).

Additional Policies:
   If you require a driver to drive a commercial vehicle, book through our app, then contact the driver and inquire about his relevant documents then decide whether the vehicle can be handed.
   Public performances, concerts, theatres, malls, Mandapam arenas, and other high-noise areas, as well as underground parking, may cause network difficulties, resulting in non-communication with the driver. We recommend turning on your phone's ringtone and remaining close to the designated pickup place. Communicate well in advance about Pickup points or place where car is parked.
   Late Night Charges: All duties starting after 10 pm or ending before 6 am will be charged a Late-Night Charge of ? 100/- extra.
   In the event that the vehicle breaks down on the way, an ending OTP should be provided to the driver. Our app will provide a rate based on the time utilized by the customer, which should be settled, and an additional travel allowance should be provided to the driver based on the distance travelled.

Dispute Resolution:
   In the event of a conflict or disagreement between the customer and the driver, the company will enable resolution through a fair and open procedure. Our app includes an SOS button, which allows you to contact for assistance in certain situations. If the driver requires assistance, please use our app's support feature. We will look into the problem and try to help resolve it.
Vehicle Maintenance:
   Vehicles should be in good working condition and comply with all regulatory requirements.
   Drivers have the right to refuse service if the vehicle provided is not in satisfactory condition or if safety standards are not met. ( If a driver detects a severe fault with the vehicle and is unable to drive, the driver should be sent back after paying the displayed amount plus return travel expenses.)

Feedback Mechanism:
   Customers are encouraged to provide feedback on their experience with the service, including suggestions for improvement. The company values customer feedback and uses it to enhance the quality of its services.

Instructions Before Handover:
Please follow these instructions (Dos & Don'ts) before handing over car keys to drivers:

   Check the Driver's Credentials and Booking ID when the driver arrives at your pickup location.
   Please have a detailed discussion on the destination and the route and time of reaching.
   Please do the joint inspection of the vehicle prior to starting the trip for a safe journey.
   Please educate the driver if your car has any special handling requirements or symbols on the dashboard
   Please advise if the driver violates the speed limits.
   Please do the Joint inspection on the car internally and externally prior to paying the driver charges.
   Please pay the full charges to the driver through any mode which is convenient to both you and the driver.
